And sold at the Oxford Bible Warehouse, Paternoster Row, London MDCCCVI 1806 Embossed Decorative Leather Very Good No Jacket 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall Original dark tan leather binding. The front and back boards feature a tooled border at the edges and a central rectangular panel embellished with tooled roses and ferns on the outer corners. 5 raised bands to the spine. Binding loose, not well preserved copy. Complete with the Old and New Testament and also the Books of the Apocrypha. There is a dedication page To The Most High And mighty Prince James after the title page. Also a separate title page to the New Testament. Single page Table of The Conditions & Offices Of men at the back. Size 7 1/4" x 5", unpaginated. Inscriptions by hand from 1772 and 1776! Donated by Jerrell Baley.
